Professional

I had the priviledge to work in Romania both in the private and non-profit sectors. The non-profit work included jobs in NGO’s and the Romanian Government. I also acquired a two-year work experience in the United States, where I had a job at Burr Consulting and an Internship at Los Angeles Mayor’s Office.

If I were to establish a hierarchy, I feel most confortable in the NGO sector. That is where you can truly do what you like and use your abilities most effectively. Of course, the trade off is that you would not be paid very well. The private sector is on the second place. I am fascinated by the daily efficiency of companies. The CEO’s and the regular employees have huge responsibilities on their shoulders: they pay taxes and thus sustain the public sector, give salaries and obtain profit facing fierce competition. From my point of view, their work should be supported and eased by the governmental sector. On the third place, there is the governmental sector. It is the hardest to change, inneficient and many times not rewarding due to politics. What can be easier than obtaining extra income by writing a paper and signing it? (I’m reffering to imposinga new tax). The governmental sector is, however, the only one that can provide social protection, defense and justice.

In this section of my website, I write about the milestones that I had in my professional life. I give special emphasis to the projects that I liked the most.
