We have launched a new project called \u201eSTART for YOU!\u201d financed by the European Commission’s Human Resources Program. The partnership is formed by the Young Entrepreneurs Association from Romania, the Association of Villages from Romania, Europroject Slatina, and SMART Development Center from Galati. The goal\u00a0of the project is to assist the unemployed from the rural areas of Romania to find a job through vocational training, access to information and career services. Also, those who feel more entrepreneurial, will benefit from entrepreneurship training courses and assistance for start-up funding.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

By the end of\u00a0\u00a02015, we want to achieve the following objectives:<\/p>\n

  1. To develop the rural infrastructure for the unemployed and farmers by establishing three formation and entrepreneurship START UP centers in the counties of Galati, Olt and Botosani.<\/li>\n
  2. To train 280 unemployed and\u00a0farmers engaged in subsistence agriculture, in occupations like elderly care, trade worker, food industry worker, construction worker, canned fruits and vegetables, and hospitality.<\/li>\n
  3. To stimulate the entrepreneurial potential of 240 unemployed people and\u00a0farmers engaged in basic agriculture by delivering an entrepreneurship training course.<\/li>\n
  4. To incubate 15 new businesses in the START UP centers.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
