Finalists of the contest "The High School Student of the Year"<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

For ten weeks, residents of Galati had the chance to see a project promoting elite high scool students unfold under the leadership of Viata Libera<\/a> newspaper. The project aimed at bringing forward the best and the brightest high school students from Galati county. As a result of the online vote and the cuppons brought to the editorial board, the four finalists were selected: Dan Danaila from CNVA \u2013 champion at “Sciences” with 5940 points; Cristian Briceanu from \u201eHogas\u201d Tecuci, winner at “Arts and Sports” with 8292 points; Sabina Albrich from \u201eCuza\u201d \u2013 finalist at “Humanistic Studies” with 5773 points, and Elena Surdu from \u201eElena Doamna\u201d who received 606 votes at “Technical and Vocational training” section.<\/p>\n

Awards and sponsors \u2013 Entrepreneurs who awarded prizes to the elites: Every one of the four finalists won a prize of 200 lei offered by the sponsors Association \u201eRespect\u201d, Varia Prest Ltd, PRO ECO-TUR Galati, and FasTracKids Academy. They will also receive a DVD with “Encyclopedia Universalis\u201d, offered by Speranta Gallage \u2013 manager for exports at the same publisher. The winner of the contest won a prize of 2,000 lei, sponsored by Agrovest Shop Ltd, \u201eGitana\u201d Beauty Saloon, Turom Steel Ltd, Eco-Terra Ltd, and \u201eLibertatea 2000\u201d and \u201eCormoran\u201d restaurants \u2013 members of the Young Entrepreneurs Association from Romania – the South East Chapter<\/strong> (YEAR-SE). YEAR-SE<\/strong> also offered two training programs of mentorhip in start-up businesses.<\/p>\n
