The Young Entrepreneurs supported the contest “The High School Student of the Year””

For ten weeks, residents of Galati had the chance to see a project promoting elite high scool students unfold under the leadership of Viata Libera newspaper. The project aimed at bringing forward the best and the brightest high school students from Galati county. As a result of the online vote and the cuppons brought to the editorial board, the four finalists were selected: Dan Danaila from CNVA – champion at “Sciences” with 5940 points; Cristian Briceanu from „Hogas” Tecuci, winner at “Arts and Sports” with 8292 points; Sabina Albrich from „Cuza” – finalist at “Humanistic Studies” with 5773 points, and Elena Surdu from „Elena Doamna” who received 606 votes at “Technical and Vocational training” section.

Awards and sponsors – Entrepreneurs who awarded prizes to the elites: Every one of the four finalists won a prize of 200 lei offered by the sponsors Association „Respect”, Varia Prest Ltd, PRO ECO-TUR Galati, and FasTracKids Academy. They will also receive a DVD with “Encyclopedia Universalis”, offered by Speranta Gallage – manager for exports at the same publisher. The winner of the contest won a prize of 2,000 lei, sponsored by Agrovest Shop Ltd, „Gitana” Beauty Saloon, Turom Steel Ltd, Eco-Terra Ltd, and „Libertatea 2000” and „Cormoran” restaurants – members of the Young Entrepreneurs Association from Romania – the South East Chapter (YEAR-SE). YEAR-SE also offered two training programs of mentorhip in start-up businesses.
