SolveNet project enters its most dynamic phase as key activities are scheduled for the coming months. These are aimed at elaborating public policy proposals in the four partner countries: Romania, Republic of Moldova, Armenia, and Ukraine.
First, we are going to make a re-branding of our citizen engagement platform “Public policies made by citizens” available now at politicipublice.ro and public-policies.eu. We are also going to add new facilities and widgets that will make the navigation of the website more friendly and the civic engagement experience more dynamic. We are looking to make it easier for citizens to publish problems of public concern from their communities and brainstorm solutions. In the following step, our team will create the civic engagement platforms for Armenia, Republic of Moldova and Ukraine. In every country, we are recruiting 10 partner NGOs that will be in charge of coordinating the civic engagement process at a local level. They will make sure the participation process is constructive and efficient. These new partners will benefit from a training course about civic engagement in the context of “SMART Method of Public Policy”.
