SMART Method of Public Policy has been launched in Armenia

Under the title “SolveNet Armenia,” SMART Method of Public Policy can now be used in Armenia. This important step in our development was possible with the project “Citizen Engagement in the prioritization, design and implementation of local development policies” which is financed by the European Commission’s Cross Border Cooperation Program. Together with our partners, European Integration NGO from Yerevan, we had the pleasure to train representatives of 10 local NGOs in how to use our method and its citizen engagement platform which is now available at armenia.public-policies.eu.  During four days of work, we also discussed about 11 problems of local concern and brainstormed 32 solutions. The participants created draft policy papers that will be sent to authorities for community action and better local public policies. We hope to see the first success stories soon!
