SMART Method of Public Policy has been launched in Ukraine
SMART Method of Public Policy has been launched in Ukraine, under the framework of SolveNet Project, financed by European Commission’s Joint Operational Program for Cross Border Cooperation 2007 – 2013. Together with our Ukrainian partner, Agency of Sustainable Development and European Integration “Lower Danube” Euroregion from Izmail, we have created the Ukrainian citizen engagement platform serving our method at “ukraine.public-policies.eu.” Over 10 local NGOs from Odessa region attended the training sessions on citizen engagement and public policy making, publishing community problems in areas like education, social affairs, agriculture, environment, and youth, as well as solutions to them. These solution ideas will be transformed in policy papers that will be sent to public officials for community action, aiming to generate many success stories of civic engagement.
