About the “little” leader

I was recently invited to attend the conference Leaders with style, that is organized by The Association of Women Entrepreneurs from Romania, Galati Branch. It is a unique event, with guest speakers that can be role models and inspire anybody wishing to become an entrepreneur. For the city of Galati, it is the kind of event that should become main stream. I have to admit that it was rather hard for me to find an interesting topic to talk about, that would also be very practical. Eventually I decided to talk about a new generation of leaders that I call “the little leaders.” They are the ones who are conducting their activity in marginalized communities like Galati, take the risk to start an entrepreneurial endeavour from scratch, having limited resources and big dreams. All this in a market where the “success” stories talk about entrepreneurs running businesses with the government.
