We selected the first beneficiaries of seed funding

On September 29, we selected the first beneficiaries of seed funding for startup businesses, under the framework of the project “Integrated Development in the Village of Cudalbi, Galati County” Twenty residents from Cudalbi village will be implementing new businesses, with a grant of EUR 24,000 each, from the European Union! Prior to this important phase, our team organised training courses in entrepreneurship for 120 residents and now it is time to see the hands-on results. The implementation phase will be made with the help of our experts from SMART Development Center, Young Entrepreneurs Association from SE Region of Romania, the City of Cudalbi, and the High School from Cudalbi. This way, the entrepreneurs will focus mainly on running the businesses and less on dealing with the project bureaucracy. We selected business proposals related to the applicants’ knowledge and expertise, in areas like dental medicine, furniture, after school, pastry, construction works, napkin production, gift making, car wash, self-service car wash, beauty saloon, car maintenance, tire maintenance, cookie production, chips production, and ice cream production.
