Preview of the launching of START YOU project in Galati
START YOU project will be officially launched in Galati on November 25, 2010. The objective is to facilitate the transition of high school pupils and college students to the labor market. We planned to organize a series of innovative activities aimed at improving the chances of young people to become entrepreneurs, developing their professional and practical competences. The event will also mark the legal establishment of the Young Entrepreneurs Association from the South East Region of Romania (YEASER) and will unfold at Danube Business Center according to the following schedule.
- 10:00 – 11:00 – Press conference
- 11:00 – 13:00 – Informational debate with YEASEA founders, public authorities, professors, business owners, and representatives of high school pupils and college students. The theme of the debate is the transition from school to active professional life.
- 15:00 – 17:00 – World coffee, with approximately 40 pupils and students from the Economics High School, the Auto High School, the Food Science High School, and the Students’ League. They will exchange ideas about business opportunities after the end of school, entrepreneurship and running a start-up business.
The project is financed by the European Commission’s Social Fund on the development of human resources. The partnership of the project is formed by Euro<26 Association, the Young Entrepreneurs Association from Romania and Young Scot.
