SMART Method of Public Policy has been launched in Republic of Moldova

SMART Method of Public Policy has been officially launched in Republic of Moldova, under the framework of SolveNet Project, financed by the European Commission’s Joint Operational Program for Cross Border Cooperation 2007 – 2013. Our Moldovan partner Institute for Public Policy and us, have created the citizen engagement platform serving our method at “moldova.public-policies.eu.” Over 10 local NGOs from Chisinau and other southern regions attended the training sessions on citizen engagement and public policy making. Together, we published community problems in areas like youth, tourism, sport activities, environment, and public safety, in the regions of Cantemir, Leova and Cahul. Also, the participants brainstormed solutions to them and created draft policy papers that will be sent to authorities for community action. We have started the process to generate success stories of civic engagement.
